Below are the minimum and preferred requirements for joining the LAMP Logistics team.
Minimum Requirements
All Drivers
β Must be at least 21 years old
β Valid U.S. driverβs license (CDL not required, but preferred)
β Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) β no major violations in the past 3 years
β Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
β Strong communication skills and willingness to use dispatch technology (ELD/app updates)
β Professional attitude and commitment to customer service
β Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally during loading/unloading (no-touch freight most of the time)
Preferred Qualifications
πΌ For Owner-Operators:
Own or lease a 26-ft box truck in good condition (must pass inspection)
Current DOT/MC authority or willingness to run under LAMPβs authority
Valid insurance and registration
Prior experience hauling general freight or final-mile loads
Understanding of ELD compliance and basic load documentation
π For Company Drivers:
Prior delivery or route driving experience (1+ year preferred)
Familiarity with ELD logs and safe driving practices
Strong work ethic and reliability for on-time performance
